Challenging the status quo.
Stronger & more sustainable practitioners.
Group supervision at PTC provides a dynamic, collaborative space for professionals to connect, share diverse perspectives, and tackle complex challenges together.
By engaging in thought-provoking discussions, you’ll gain fresh insights, reduce isolation, and build confidence in your practice.
With support from peers and a skilled supervisor, group supervision fosters professional growth, ethical decision-making, and creative problem-solving.
It’s the perfect environment to challenge your thinking, explore new ideas, and develop the skills you need to thrive in your role.
Open to Social Workers, Counsellors and Mental Health Practitioners.
At PTC, affordability matters because we understand the financial pressures mental health practitioners face, especially during a cost of living crisis.
Despite the perception, many in our field are not as well-paid as the community believes. We deserve accessible and affordable support for the challenging work we do.
That’s why PTC is committed to providing high-quality, progressive supervision that’s both supportive and reasonably priced, ensuring you get the care and guidance you need without added financial strain.
We are charging $49 per session, requiring payment for all sessions, so there is group cohesion.
We require full payment for all sessions before they commence. No refunds are provided for late cancellations and withdrawals.

Session topics for discussion
Over the four months, we will have a different topic in each session, to help challenge our thinking and guide our conversations:
Month 1: Welcome and Introductions: Building Our Supervision Community
In this first session, we’ll focus on introductions and getting to know each other as a group. It’s a chance to build trust, share professional backgrounds, and set the tone for our future discussions. Together, we’ll create a collaborative and supportive environment where everyone’s voice is heard, and meaningful connections can thrive.
Month 2: Burnout, Boundaries, and Self-Care: Recognizing the Early Signs of Compassion Fatigue
In this session, we’ll focus on identifying the early signs of compassion fatigue in mental health practitioners and offer practical tools for managing emotional exhaustion before it escalates to burnout, ensuring long-term well-being.
Month 3: Intersectionality and Identity in Therapy: Supporting LGBTQIA+ and Neurodivergent Clients
This session dives into the intersection of neurodivergence and LGBTQIA+ identities, providing insights into how therapists can offer affirming, informed support to clients who navigate these dual experiences.
Month 4: Ethical Dilemmas in a Digital Age: Navigating Client Boundaries on Social Media
As digital interactions increase, maintaining professional boundaries can be complex. This session focuses on the ethical implications of therapists and clients interacting on social media and offers clear guidelines to uphold professionalism in the digital realm.
